In the case of the steeple of the Meilen Reformed Church, not much – a stocktaking and analysis showed that replacing the rusted-out tie rods and adding missing fasteners in the attic would be all that was needed. Thanks to good and close cooperation with the building client and the monument preservation authorities, it was possible to find efficient solutions that do justice to the various interests.
